Something that always surprises me is when brides have no idea whatsoever about what they'd like for their wedding makeup. Usually I get a not-so secret 'secret' Pinterest board of ideas and inspirations, running the gamut from super natural, "no-makeup makeup" to more dramatic makeup and occasionally, a very trusting bride will say "you're the expert, whatever you think" and then it's party time!!
Khrystyna was particularly special, because she LOVES makeup and had a really good idea of what she wanted for her wedding, a unique style and aesthetic, exemplified by the statement (knockout!) necklace she hand made for herself! Artist that she is, she requested a rosette hair extension to fit into her bun and was game to try on a few different lipsticks to humour me and also see which one she liked most. Good times!
I find all my bridal clients to be especially beautiful inside and out and Khrystyna is no exception. Referred to me by another beautiful friend and photographer, Alexandra, Khyrsytna aside from also being artistic in her own way, is a romantic at heart, who gave us the impression that she enjoyed this whole process as much as we do.
